Prinsip Ujian

When a person walks on the inspected carpet wearing the shoes specified in the standard and following the prescribed walking pattern, and is under monitored atmospheric conditions, the potential difference relative to the earth's voltage (0 potential) generated during walking is measured. This measurement is used to evaluate the risk level of discomfort caused by static electricity shocks during the use of this carpet. We use the electrostatic potential difference between the human body and the earth to represent human - body static electricity. The testers walk on the inspected carpet (floor covering) wearing the test shoes specified in the standard and following the prescribed walking pattern in a regulated atmospheric environment.
